Prior to the Upcoming Ethereum Cancun-Deneb Fork, Paxos will pause on-chain Ethereum network transfers approximately 1 hour before the Ethereum Fork, currently expected to take place on March 13, 2024 at roughly 8:55 AM EDT. Once the fork is complete and we’ve determined that the new network is stable, we’ll notify you when all services are restored.
We do not expect any interruption to trading during this period. You will continue to be able to trade all Paxos-supported crypto assets on the Paxos platform.
We will send out additional notifications as conditions warrant one (1) hour before we suspend on-chain Ethereum network transfers. More information on the Ethereum Merge, the Paxos approach and how it may impact you can be found on our Portal:
